Macie learned how to ride her bike without training wheels today.

 

  Last weekend I was scheduled to referee the UT Rugby match vs. Sam Houston St. down in Austin.  We thought it would be a great opportunity to take a short trip down to Austin.  We picked up Macie from school around 11:30, dropped the dogs off at the kennel,  and headed out.  We stopped in Waco at the Starbucks to buy my mom a Starbucks gift-card. (Happy Birthday Mom) and mailed it from the post office across the street.  We also stopped in Belton at Sonic. 

So a lot has been happening this week and I haven't updated...so grab and drink and sit back...this one's going to be long.

Monday and Tuesday were fairly uneventful.  I don't remember much about them so not too much could have happened. Monday we did get our new mattress delivered so that was cool.  It is a foam Tempur-Pedic knock off and we love it.  Since the girls sometimes visit during the night we definately needed a king.

Good grief. I can't believe my youngest son is having his 2nd Childhood at the ripe young age of ..... crap, how old are you anyway, Greg? 32? 33? [Where are those adoption papers???]. //

So, here is a short update of what we have been up to this past week or so.  As many of you know, I have been "in-between" jobs for the past few weeks and am really enjoying being unemployed.  In fact, I like it so much I have contemplated making it a permanent thing.  However, a few bills showed up and the house payment is sitting in the "bill pile" so I figure that is likely not the best long-term plan. I start my new gig on Wednesday.

You can run it manually from the admin/logs/status page, or set up a cronjob in cpanel. Please only run it as little as possible. Like everything else, cron is an api hook in drupal, so there are modules to optimize the db and lots of other stuff whenever cron is run. Just point the cronjob to the cron.php script. The easiest was is ~/public_html/cron.php.Your site is looking sweet though bro! 

Averie & Lindsie's 1st Day of School

Macie started first grade this past Monday. She had a great first week and we really love her teacher, Mrs. Campbell. We're looking forward to a great year - it's hard to believe she's so big! Where does the time go?

Since I am just starting my blog, I figured I better back track a little and put up some pictures from this summer.

Macie's very best friend, Rylie, came to visit (along with her mom Jessica, and brother Chase).  We had a great time and we owe them the next trip!  We're a little behind!

We had our family photos taken back in June by an amazing photographer, Diana Raines. We always have the girls pictures taken in the Spring around birthdays to mark each year, but we were running a little behind this year. One of the ladies in our Pokeno group, Diana, had started doing location photography, but I didn't think much of it. A friend of ours had Diana take pictures of her girls and once I saw her proofs it was a no-brainer that I wanted Diana to take our pictures.
